Cyberattack impacts the royal family
A British royal family source announced that the website was hacked.
The page, which could not be accessed for approximately an hour and a half due to a cyber attack, was accessible again at noon.
Stating that it is not known who was responsible for the attack, the source stated that it was not a hack and that the systems and content of the website could not be accessed.
The Russian hacker group “Killnet” claimed responsibility for the DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack on the royal family’s website.
In his statement on April 19, British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden warned of planned cyber attacks by Russian-linked hacking groups against companies in the United Kingdom. (AA)
