The moment of the terrible fire at the wedding was caught on camera
On the afternoon of September 26, a fire broke out during a wedding in the Hamdaniye district of Mosul, Iraq.
While it was claimed that the fireworks used during the wedding could start a fire, at least 93 people lost their lives and more than 100 guests were injured in the disaster.

HOW DID THE FIRE START?
Amir Abdu, one of the survivors of the fire, said: “Shortly after we entered the room, they brought their fireworks. As soon as he lit the fireworks, they shot up to the ceiling, the ceiling suddenly caught fire and the entire room caught fire. As soon as we made it out, everyone around us was injured. I was not hurt, but my wife was hurt. “Everyone, boys and girls, was injured,” he said.
Imad Yohana, a 34-year-old guest who survived the fire, said: “Suddenly we saw the flames rising. We managed to escape outside, but some stayed inside. “Those who managed to get out were also injured,” he said.
THE OWNER OF THE SALON WAS ARRESTED
The owner of the salon was captured and detained in Erbil on the night of September 27. The suspect was arrested by the court. After the fire, all wedding and performance halls in Kirkuk were inspected.
4 OF THE INJURED ARE IN Türkiye
It was learned that 4 people injured in the fire arrived in Turkey for treatment. It was indicated that the injured were accompanied by a medical team of 10 people, made up of 2 doctors, nurses and first aid specialists.
DUEL HAS BEEN DECLARED
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani also declared three days of mourning in the country for the events.
