The Ministry responded to the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s accusatory statement against Azerbaijan regarding the latest developments in Karabakh with a written statement. The statement stated that Azerbaijan strongly condemned the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, which misled the international community about the Second Karabakh War and the measures taken after it.

The statement stated that the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to spread false narratives by denying its responsibility for crimes such as the occupation of Azerbaijani lands for more than 30 years and the mass murder of Azerbaijanis, adding: “Azerbaijan has always fought against power of Armenia. occupation and attack. “With the anti-terrorist operation carried out in September 2023, the threat posed by the illegal Armenian armed forces stationed in Azerbaijan has been legitimately eliminated.”

The statement stated that the Azerbaijani army has never attacked civilians and recalled Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement that “there is no direct threat to the civilian population in Karabakh.”

The statement highlighted that the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ claims that “ethnic cleansing is being carried out against the Armenian population in Karabakh” do not reflect the truth, adding: “The decision of the Armenian residents living in Whether Karabakh moves to Armenia or another country has nothing to do with Azerbaijan.
