Call of the Belarusian army to women: beauty queens underwent military training

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, who provided strong support to Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Ukraine war, has accelerated efforts to recruit the country’s young women into the army.

Belarus included the country’s beauty pageant candidates in its propaganda video calling for young women to join the army. The beauties of the Miss Belarus 2023 pageant took up arms and trained in military uniforms at a headquarters in the country.

In the published video, Belarusian women are invited to join the ranks of the army. It was claimed that female volunteers received military training at headquarters.

Nadezda Tolstikova, the queen of this year’s competition, said she really enjoyed the military training. Belarusian soldier Sergei Grebenikov also stated that thanks to this military training, women were able to see with their own eyes the power of the army.

Belarus plans to offer five-day intensive military training to thousands of young men and women volunteers before the end of the year.

In Russia, which has decided on partial mobilization, intensive work has recently been done to attract young women to the ranks of the army. The military training of 15-year-old students in the Primorskiy region is causing reactions.

It is claimed that at least 75 schoolgirls have so far received tactical military training in Russia’s far eastern region.
