According to the Iraqi news agency INA, based on a source from the Mosul Health Department, a fire broke out in a wedding hall in the Hamdaniye district of Mosul for unknown reasons.

The images of the fire that occurred while the bride and groom were dancing were also reflected on social networks. Footage showed people running from left to right in panic.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani made a statement on social media platforms. “The Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Health directed all their forces to this region to help those affected by this unfortunate incident,” he said in the statement. Health Ministry spokesman Saif al-Bedr said: “We mobilized all our forces to help those affected by this unfortunate accident.”
