Azerbaijan and Armenia create joint working group

In the written statement of the presidential administration of Azerbaijan it was reported that President Ilham Aliyev’s representative in charge of contacts with Armenians in Karabakh, deputy Ramin Mammedov, met with representatives of Karabakh Armenians in Khojaly.

The statement highlighted that the meeting was constructive and that the Armenian representatives expressed their satisfaction with the food and fuel aid sent by Azerbaijan and the supply of electricity.

THE AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED

According to the statement, at the meeting, the working group chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, created to resolve social, humanitarian, economic and infrastructure problems in Karabakh, met with relevant representatives involved in infrastructure, health and other civil activities in the region, including the city of Khankendi, and shared a joint statement stating that an agreement had been reached on the formation of a working group.

During the meeting, it was proposed to establish a field hospital near Khankendi or Khojaly, where medical personnel of Azerbaijani and Armenian origin would work together, and it was also suggested to establish a mobile cafeteria where personnel of Azerbaijani and Armenian origin would work.

During the meeting, suggestions were also made to establish mixed teams of health workers of Azerbaijani and Armenian origin to provide services to lonely and needy people in remote villages, and to visit civil society representatives and activists of Armenian origin living in Karabakh. in Baku or other cities of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that Azerbaijani officials and Armenian representatives will meet again soon.

The Azerbaijani army launched a counter-terrorism operation in Karabakh on September 19 to restore constitutional order.

The illegal Armenian armed forces in Karabakh laid down their arms after a 24-hour operation.

Azerbaijan invited representatives of Karabakh Armenians to discuss integration issues. The first meeting after the anti-terrorist operation was held in the city of Yevlah on September 21. (AA)
