Trump went crazy when he saw the disabled soldier at the ceremony: ‘Why are you bringing this?’
Former US President Donald Trump was revealed to have lost his mind at the sight of a disabled soldier in a wheelchair at a ceremony he attended in 2019, when he was in office.
According to the American press, while Trump greeted the disabled soldier Luis Ávila, who sang the anthem “God Bless America” at the military ceremony, he was not at all happy with the situation. Trump became very angry when he saw Avila, who was seriously injured and lost a leg during the US occupation in Afghanistan, and asked chief of staff Mark Milley: “Why do you bring in people like that? “Nobody wants to see someone hurt,” he reportedly said.
The insulting words of Trump, who scolded Milley while going to congratulate Ávila who was singing the anthem, were also heard by some people around him.
THE FORMER MINISTER SAID: ‘IT IS MUCH MORE DANGEROUS THAN WAS THOUGHT’
Ávila, a soldier who fought in Afghanistan for a long time, is alleged to have suffered two heart attacks and brain damage due to the wounds he received.
Trump reportedly ordered the military to never invite Ávila to a public ceremony again. This situation was reported to have greatly disturbed Chief of Staff Milley and caused unrest among senior soldiers.
Trump had long been on the agenda with the claim that he called American soldiers who died in France during World War II “losers and idiots.”
John Kelly, who served at a high level in the military during Trump’s presidency, said of the former president: “The most problematic person I have ever seen in my life.” Former Defense Secretary James Mattis also said Trump was “a much more dangerous person than people think.”
