Joint Turkish-Russian center: Armenia violated ceasefire in Karabakh
The Joint Turkish-Russian Center determined that there were 258 ceasefire violations by Armenia in Karabakh in two years.
The Joint Turkish-Russian Center, created to supervise and monitor the implementation of the ceasefire in Karabakh, which Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation, continues its work. The activities of the Center, which began operating on January 30, 2021, continue in accordance with the regulations on duties and responsibilities drawn up by the Turkish and Russian delegations.
The Centre, which works to establish peace and tranquility in the region, identifies violations with its own reconnaissance and surveillance equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles, and tracks violation notifications from both sides. At the Center, where necessary precautions are taken through studies, violations are also reported.
In this context, the Turkish-Russian Joint Center determined 258 violations of the ceasefire by Armenia until January 30, 2021. Violations detected by the Turkish Azerbaijani Joint Central Command were also reported. (AA)
