Germany opened its doors to Turkish labor: 60,000 heaters and plumbers needed
In Germany, parliament passed the law on new heating systems and the transition to renewable energy instead of fossil fuels. Consequently, gradually after 2026, 65 percent of fossil or gas-derived heating models used in homes will come from renewable energy.
To do this, systems supported by heat pumps and solar panels will be installed in the homes. That is, all heating systems, pipes, bathrooms, radiators will be changed. To achieve this goal, 60,000 new water suppliers and heaters will be needed until 2023.
MONTHLY YOU WILL FIND 2500 EUROS
Parliament had previously passed the Qualified Immigration Law. Those who have professional training and authority in this field in Turkey, if they prove it, will be able to reach an agreement with the company operating in this field and come to Germany.
It is a requirement that these people have knowledge of German at least at level A2. Heating and plumbing workers or day laborers will earn at least 20 euros per hour.
The monthly salary of people who start working in Germany will reach 2,500 euros. There is no upper limit for teachers or business owners.
THOSE WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL TRAINING WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED
In Germany, a vocational training period of three and a half years is required to learn this profession. However, this is not a requirement to be a worker in this field.
For example, if you know a little about business, it is possible to find work with a water and heating plumber who has a certificate of authority. Company approval is only required for works that require authorization.
There are currently approximately 50,000 German companies doing these jobs in Germany, and even getting an appointment with them is a big problem.
Because even now they can’t meet the demand. It is estimated that after 2024, 500,000 systems will be put into operation per year in their new version. It seems that all doors are open for those who want to come from Turkey in this field.
