Education suspended for 10 days due to Libya flood disaster
In his statement on his social media account, Dibeybe said: “Considering the painful situation in the disaster-affected cities, I have decided to suspend education in primary and secondary education institutions across the country for 10 days.” he said.
Dibeybe stated that he tasked the Ministry of Education to prepare a plan for students in these regions to return to education, noting that temporary centers for education will be created.
In his previous statement, Dibeybe announced that a ship with 700 berths was sent to the coast of Derne to accommodate those who abandoned their homes due to the flood.

Storm “Daniel”, which affected the central Mediterranean and hit eastern Libya on September 10, caused flooding in the cities of Benghazi, Beyda, Marj, Suse and Derna.
