She inflicted horror on the man she met on the app! Terrible blackmail plan ended in prison

At Nottingham Crown Court, England, the case was heard about Tahereh Ghorbanlou, 34, blackmailing the person she met through an online dating app in 2021.

In the indictment read to the court, it is alleged that Ghorbanlou and the victim drank alcohol together before having consensual sex, and that the man was blackmailed during subsequent encounters.

It was stated in court that the victim considered this situation as a joke and that they separated on good terms, but in the following days, Ghorbanlou blackmailed him by sending him messages.

SEARCHED “PRICE OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE” ON THE INTERNET

According to the Dailymail news, Ghorbanlou was found guilty because he blackmailed his partner by telling her that he would be fined £30,000 if she reported the incident to the police as sexual abuse, but that he would not go to the police. if he transferred 5 thousand pounds to her.

An investigation into the fake rape scam was launched after the victim reported the situation to police. As a result of the investigation, Ghorbanlou was arrested. Ghorbanlou, who said during his interrogation that he was a victim of sexual violence, refused to give any written statement or sign his comments about the incident.

British police said they could find no evidence that Ghorbanlou, who was released on bail, was the victim of any sexual crime. On the other hand, it was revealed that Ghorbanlou’s blackmail documents were on his mobile phone and that he searched for “price of sexual violence” and “definition of sexual violence” on the Internet.

I ACCEPT CRIME OF BLACKMAIL

Ghorbanlou pleaded guilty to blackmail two years after the investigation began. In the case heard at Nottingham Crown Court on September 6, Ghorbanlou was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.

Detective Chris Berryman, who led the investigation, said after the trial: “The victim in this case did absolutely the right thing by informing us of Ghorbanlou’s claims. Ghorbanlou made insidious and dishonest threats to extort money from the victim and then made a completely false rape accusation against the victim. I am pleased that our investigation has revealed his true behavior and that a judge has seen fit to put him behind bars. The victim was falsely accused of a very serious crime and then subjected to an ordeal and a two-year judicial process. “We hope that the prison sentence imposed on Ghorbanlou will allow him to move on with his life,” he said.
