Shocking accusation by the United States: cereal warehouses were attacked
The US State Department shared a video message from its social media account. The message included pre- and post-attack photos of an allegedly attacked barn at the Rubizhne butcher shop in Ukraine.
Claiming that Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian grain warehouses had dire consequences for the country’s farmers and the world’s hungry, the message noted that many families could feed themselves on grain here. The message called for Russia to end its attacks and return to the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
US Permanent Representative to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield accused Russia of attacking the port of Izmail, adding: “This is yet another example of (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s immeasurable cruelty while many people are dying of hunger all over the world.” she made the assessment of it.
RUSSIA MADE A STATEMENT
The Russian Defense Ministry argued that a warning fire was opened against a dry cargo ship heading towards the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Izmail.
In a statement made by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 19, it was stated that all ships heading to Ukrainian ports would be considered “potential carriers of military cargo.” (AA)
