Vassily Nebenzia, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, argued that the bill ignored the “concerns” of Mali and Russia.
Mali’s Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop demanded that the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission for Mali withdraw from the country “without delay” at the UN Security Council session on June 16.
