The international police organization Interpol decided to ask the public for help after the case of the dead child found in the Danube has not yet been resolved.

Interpol said in a statement; The boy, who is estimated to be five or six years old, was found in Bavaria last May with the cobblestone and wrapped in aluminum foil.

Unable to identify the cause of death or the identity of the child, German police asked Interpol to issue an international advisory, the ‘Black Bulletin’, to collect information on unidentified corpses.

The ‘I-Family’ tool, launched in 2021 to identify unknown bodies using international family DNA parentage matching, is believed to prove useful in this case.
