His body was found a year ago… The public was asked for help over the mysterious incident

The international police organization Interpol decided to ask the public for help after the case of the dead child found in the Danube has not yet been resolved.

Interpol said in a statement; The boy, who is estimated to be five or six years old, was found in Bavaria last May with the cobblestone and wrapped in aluminum foil.

Unable to identify the cause of death or the identity of the child, German police asked Interpol to issue an international advisory, the ‘Black Bulletin’, to collect information on unidentified corpses.

PRIZE MONEY OFFERED FOR INCOMING INFORMATION

Interpol said it did not know how long the body had been in the water when it was found near Grossmehring, the Bavarian municipality of 7,500, on May 19, 2022.

At the end of last year, a three-dimensional reconstruction of the boy, about 110 centimeters tall, weighing 15 kilograms, brown hair and blood group O, was also published. In fact, a reward of 8,600 pounds (approximately 290,000 lire) was offered for information coming from the public.

Interpol’s Juergen Stock said police thought the child might be from outside Germany, so that once the case is cleared up, they can clarify whether the child has been a victim of trafficking, kidnapping or violence. “Someone somewhere knows something about this child,” he said in his statement.

The ‘I-Family’ tool, launched in 2021 to identify unknown bodies using international family DNA parentage matching, is believed to prove useful in this case.
