An investigation has been launched into the incident that took place in Campina Grande, in eastern Brazil. The police, who checked the house, also claimed that an intermediate cable was connected to the charging cable, and it was announced that this cable was about to break.

Police officers who examined the house said the charging cable was taped together and the woman stepped on the cable with her bare feet. It was not revealed if the young woman’s feet were wet. The mother-in-law of the woman who tragically collapsed spoke to local media. The grieving woman said: “She was like my daughter. Apparently when she pressed on the wire, she was swept away by the current,” she said.
