Country in confusion ahead of critical president’s visit: wrong message
President Erdoğan, at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, will travel to Budapest today to attend the celebrations for the founding of the State of Hungary and part of the events of the World Championships in Athletics that Hungary will host.
In the negotiations to be carried out within the framework of the visit; Bilateral relations with Hungary are expected to be discussed in all aspects and views on regional and global developments are shared. President Erdogan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his other counterparts, who will take part in the celebrations and events.
But before going to Budapest, Erdogan’s visit confused the country… Richard Barabas, spokesman for the opposition Parbeszed Party, who made a statement before Erdogan’s visit, criticized this visit.
“This visit sends a very serious and dangerous message to the Hungarian people and the international community,” Barabas said on Facebook. Barabas said: “The president of Turkey has strayed far from the values that we Europeans, Hungarians and we Greens believe in the values of human rights, democracy and rights.”
