Russia hits the city center in Ukraine: there are many dead and injured

Five people were reported killed and 42 wounded in the Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in a statement on his social media account, stated that the Russian missile hit the square, the university and the theater in the city center of Chernihiv, “There are dead and wounded. My condolences to those who lost loved ones.” He used the phrase.

Zelenskiy reported that all services were operating at the location. President Zelensky noted that they will do more to “unite the world” against Russia.

In a statement on his social media account, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Igor Klimenko claimed that 42 people, 11 of them children, were injured and 5 people were killed in the attack.

VISIT TO SWEDEN FROM ZELENSKY

Meanwhile, Ukrainian leader Zelenskiy and his wife, Olena Zelenska, traveled to Sweden today.

Zelenskiy stated that he will hold talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Swedish King Carl Gustaf as part of his official visit.

Zelenskiy said: “Our priority is the strengthening of Ukrainian fighters on the ground and in the air, the development of bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of defense industry, the European integration of Ukraine and joint security in the Euro-Atlantic area. We fully support Sweden on its path to NATO. We are sure that together we will ensure a secure peace in the entire Baltic-Black Sea-Azac region. (AGENCIES)
