Frankfurt airport flooded, great chaos
Frankfurt airport was flooded due to heavy rain and storms that hit some parts of Germany.
In the Frankfurt floods, the basements of many houses were flooded, as was the airport, and many flights were cancelled. In the statement issued by the airport spokesperson, it was revealed that many flights were canceled due to the accumulation of water on the platform, some flights were delayed and some planes were diverted to other airports.
It was reported that around 70 flights, which were expected to take place last night, could not be carried out at the airport.
It was observed that life in the states of Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia was negatively affected due to heavy rain and storms.
