Ukraine: Pokrovsk death toll rises

In his post on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian Interior Minister Klimenko made statements about the missile attack that Russia carried out yesterday in the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.

Stating that the attack caused a “great tragedy”, Klimenko said: “As a result of the attack, 7 people died and 67 were injured, including 36 policemen and 2 children.” he used his statements.

“Two impacts in the same place in a matter of minutes caused many deaths and injuries, including rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine who came to help the survivors,” the deputy spokesman said. saying.

Stating that the latest incident was added to the list of other attacks that must be investigated for “violating international humanitarian law” in the previous days, Haq noted that humanitarian organizations are continuing their aid activities in the region in question.

Separately, Farhan Haq said Adedeji Ebo, Deputy High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, today attended a briefing at the UN Security Council on the cancellation of Syria’s chemical weapons program.

Haq shared Ebo’s comments that in the conflict in Syria, “any use of chemical weapons is unacceptable and that the lack of accountability when used poses a threat to international peace and security.” (AA)
