Gilgo Beach Killer: 59-Year-Old Man Caught In Suspected Serial Killer
The United States arrested a 59-year-old man responsible for a series of murders committed years ago…
Resuming the investigation after a series of murders in 2010, US police last week arrested Rex Heuermann as the killer of the murdered women, also known as the “Gilgo Four.”

Investigations continue at the home of the suspected serial killer.
The man detained in his Manhattan office is responsible for the 2010 deaths of Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, Amber Lynn Costello and Maureen Brainard-Barnes, whose bodies were found on Gilgo Beach.
It was claimed that while 7 more bodies were found in the region at the time, Heuermann was still not responsible for these deaths and the cases were officially recorded as “cold cases”. The information that these four women were escorts and had ties to Heuermann, who had two children, appeared in the US media.
While it was claimed yesterday that there was a soundproof room in Heuermann’s home, it was revealed that police were involved in searches with specially trained dogs, also known as “cadaver dogs”.
While it was claimed that Heuermann, an architect, killed his victims in soundproof rooms, reports in the US media commented that “at least one of the victims of the accused Gilgo Beach murderer’s killer may have been murdered in his basement.”

“Cadaver dogs” also participated in the search efforts.
Speaking to the New York Post, one of the most widely read American tabloids, Heuermann’s former colleagues and neighbors said: “He had a lot of guns and a secret room. But it was more like a serious basement than a secret room. He had new concrete walls built, built a heavy gate. “The thickness of the walls was about 1 meter,” he said.
Robert Musto, 64, a neighbor of Heuermann’s, said: “This man was very strange. He had a soundproof room in his basement. What did he do?” he said. It was announced that the police focused their search on this room, but they took out many belongings along with Heuermann’s wife and children, and they will scan the entire house.
