Mall Hot Water Pipe Explosion, Boiling Water Spilled – Customers Died Horribly
A terrible incident took place in a shopping center called Vremena Goda in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
When the hot water pipe inside the mall burst, boiling water filled the mall. Before long, boiling water filled much of the building, and according to initial reports, 4 people tragically died.
Authorities announced that 70 people, including serious injuries, were taken to hospitals in the region and some were treated on the spot. Although it was announced that 18 people were trapped in the shopping center, it was announced that the condition of 50 of the injured is serious.
While authorities launched an investigation after the hot water pipe burst, the footage shared on Telegram, Russia’s widely used social media platform, also broke viewership records. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, expressing his condolences to those who lost their lives, said: “All our teams are intervening in the situation on the spot.”
