In the live broadcast, the guests faced off against each other.
Simon Abu Fadel, one of Lebanon’s leading journalists, and Wiham Wahab, former Minister of the Environment, participated as guests in the political talk show entitled “It’s Time”, broadcast on “MTV” television, based in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
Fadel and Wahab, who first quarreled verbally on the live broadcast, then began to insult each other by not listening to each other despite all the interventions of the moderator.
The argument quickly escalated into a fistfight after Wahab threw a pen at Fadel. Later, some guests in the studio became involved in the fight between the pair.
THE FIGHT CONTINUED OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
The fight, which did not subside despite the intervention of studio security, continued off television.
According to images on social networks, the region’s military intervened to separate the crowd.
Footage of the fight in the studio soon went viral on social media in Lebanon and the Arab world. (AA)
