Retired British woman married despite 46 age gap: Bad news came from sample couple
The British grandmother Iris Jones, who married the Egyptian Mohammed Ibrahim, whom she met on Facebook in the summer of 2019, was once again on the country’s agenda.
The couple, who decided to get married in November 2020 after meeting on social media in 2019, decided to divorce after 3 years. Jones, who married Ibrahim, 37, over the objections of her relatives and shared all the details of her love life on national television, said they had been fighting a lot recently.
Jones and Muhammed, who are 46 years apart, have decided to part ways.
Jones, 83, has denied allegations that he had an affair with his ex-wife and was using her to gain British citizenship. “I loved everything about Mohammed. But as time passed, the relationship became more difficult. We had a very good sex life. But instead of having sex, we started fighting all the time,” he said.
Jones and Muhammed, who gained short-term fame in England, shared details of their relationship on ITV, saying they had a regular sex life.
REGISTERED VISA FOR 3 YEARS
“I’m 83 now and I don’t want to fight,” Jones said. That’s why we broke up.” Jones also said she had a pet cat a few days after Mohammed left home. “I love her so much, I’ve never spoken for her, and she’s so calm and so beautiful,” Jones said. The 83-year-old and Mohammed got married in 2020. Responding to reactions at the time, Mohammed said: “We love each other, I’m not looking for your money or your passport.”
It was claimed that Muhammed, who received a 3-year visa in 2021, is still living in England.
