France arrests police officers for violence against a teenager
Following Nael’s murder in France, 7 police officers were arrested at a protest held in Marseille on July 2, alleging that “the public authority committed violence”, while one was subsequently released.
While the 22-year-old named Hedi, who was subjected to violence, received an 8-day disability report, an investigation into this incident was launched on July 5.
In her statement as part of the investigation, Hedi said that a rubber bullet hit her in the head on the day of the incident and she was beaten by the police.
Hedi, who was hospitalized after the incident, fell into a coma and woke up a few hours later.
PROTESTS IN FRANCE
Those who reacted to the death of Nael, who died in the police fire in France, took to the streets in different cities of the country and clashed with the police.
At protests held in many cities, including Paris, Marseille and Lyon, there were incidents of looting and looting. (AA)
