Israeli TV channel Keshet 12 reports that Netanyahu has not been anesthetized and that there is no transfer of power. According to the channel, the prime minister was suffering from chest pains.

Malaise

Netanyahu was at his residence in the coastal city of Caesarea when he fell ill, about 30 kilometers north of Tel Aviv. He is being tested at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, near Tel Aviv.

Also in October last year, the now 73-year-old Prime Minister had already been hospitalized. He also reportedly experienced chest pain while visiting a synagogue on Yom Kippur, Israel’s most important religious holiday.
