New development about 4 children who survived in the forest for days.

Four brothers who survived a plane crash in Colombia in May and survived alone in the Amazon jungle for more than 5 weeks have been released from hospital.

In Colombia, 4 children from the plane that disappeared with 7 people on May 1 and whose remains were found on May 17, were rescued on June 10 as a result of searches that continued for days with military planes and dogs in the jungle. . . The bodies of 4 adults, including the children’s mother, were found on the plane.

The fact that three sisters, a boy and three sisters, the eldest 13 years old and the youngest 12 months old, were found alive in the forest as a result of a search that lasted for days, filled the country with joy. It was recorded that the brothers of the indigenous community made a makeshift shelter in the forest and survived by eating fruits.

In a statement released yesterday by the government, it was said that young children who lost strength due to dehydration and insect bites have been discharged from the hospital after 34 days of treatment. Astrid Cáceres, director of the Colombian Institute for Children’s Health, affirmed that the state of health of the children is very good and said: “Now the second stage of care begins.”

Noting that the children will remain under government supervision due to family problems, Cáceres indicated that it will be decided whether the four brothers will be handed over to their father or to the family of their deceased mother.
