Deputies came together! fists flew

At the insistence of the ruling Make Your Own Movement (VV) in Kosovo to continue the parliamentary session, MPs from the opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) occupied the parliamentary lectern and unveiled the “Pinocchio-like” portrait of Prime Minister Albin Kurti in front of the lectern.

There was temporary tension between the VV deputies, who refused to continue the session despite the occupation of the lectern, and the PDK deputies, who demanded the end of the session. Following the tension, parliamentary security and the close guard of Prime Minister Kurti entered the room.

The speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, continued the session despite the obstacles and the government managed to pass many legislative amendments and bills, such as the determination of the minimum wage.

The opposition deputies left the session after occupying the parliamentary rostrum for about 3 hours. The assembly session was completed with approximately 10 hours of work.

The ruling deputies immediately reacted to the incident and gathered to protect Prime Minister Kurti, and a fistfight broke out between the parties. The parliamentary session was suspended due to the incident. (AA)
