Biden congratulated Finland on being the newest member of NATO, saying: “Both leaders are between Turkey, Sweden and NATO, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to approve the accession protocol of Sweden to NATO.They welcomed the final agreement they had reached on the referral to Turkey and underlined their desire that Sweden be accepted into NATO as soon as possible.” Statements were included.
