NATO China Warning
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg answered questions at a press conference he gave at the end of the NATO Summit held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
In response to a question about China, Stoltenberg said there were strong messages against China from the NATO Summit and especially from NATO talks with Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Japan.
Emphasizing that security is not just regional but global, Stoltenberg pointed to China’s investment in military capabilities.
“We expect China to have 1,500 nuclear warheads on missiles capable of reaching all of North America and Europe, that is, NATO territory, by 2035,” Stoltenberg said. We see how close China has come to us.” saying.
Claiming that China also went to many parts of the world such as Africa and the Arctic region, tried to control critical infrastructure and entered cyberspace, Stoltenberg said. He stated that he is working on issues such as the fight against disinformation and cyberspace. (AA)
