Two countries are on the brink of war! EU statement
The Kosovar Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, announced today that he has reached an agreement with the European Union (EU) to reduce tension with citizens of Serb origin after local elections in the north of the country.
In the guidelines shared by Kurti, it was said that the Kosovo government would take no action to increase tension in the north of the country within a week and would reduce the police presence in municipal buildings here by 25 percent.
EARLY LOCAL ELECTIONS IN 4 MUNICIPALITIES
The rules included that the Kosovo police would hold regular security meetings with the EU security force EULEX and the NATO security force KFOR and would consider further reducing the police presence in the aforementioned municipal buildings.
In another article of the arrangements agreed with the EU, it was indicated that the Kosovo Government will make an encouraging statement to hold early local elections in 4 northern municipalities after the summer season and comply with the necessary legal norms. (DHA)
