Israel seizes 44,000 acres of Palestinian-owned land
According to the report released by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Separation Wall (Wall of Shame) and the Council to Combat Jewish Settlements, regarding violations by Israel in the first 6 months of 2023, Israeli forces, 256 separate demolitions in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
In these demolitions, 303 buildings, including a Palestinian school, were leveled. Due to the destruction, 543 people were left homeless, including 272 children.
During this time, the Israeli army sent a notice to demolish 822 Palestinian buildings, claiming that they did not have a license.

While Israel established 13 illegal settlements on land belonging to Palestinian citizens, 44,000 acres of land was also confiscated for various reasons.
Israeli forces and Jewish settlers have also cut down or damaged 8,340 trees since the beginning of the year.
