MIGRANTS ARE TRYING TO GO TO EUROPE
Every year, thousands of irregular African migrants arrive in Tunisia to reach Europe via the Mediterranean in the hope of a better life.
Migrants residing in the cities of southern Tunisia try to cross to Europe by boat whenever they can.
Some of the immigrants from sub-Saharan African countries, who have lived in Tunisian immigrant slums for many years, manage to reach Europe, while others die at sea. (AA)
