New attack from Israel to the West Bank: dead and wounded
Two Palestinians were killed and one wounded in a raid by Israeli soldiers in the Old City of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to eyewitnesses, Israeli forces raided the Old City of Nablus and blockaded a house. Immediately after, a fight broke out between Israeli and Palestinian soldiers. Israeli reinforcements were reported to have entered the city from Jerusalem street and advanced towards the Old City area.
In a written statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent, it was stated that 2 Palestinians lost their lives in the attack by Israeli forces. In the statement, it was noted that an injured person, who was hit by live bullets in the back and feet, was taken to the hospital.
The attacks launched by Israel on the Israeli-occupied West Bank city of Jenin on July 3 and continued for approximately 48 hours, caused extensive destruction in the region. 12 Palestinians, including 4 children, were killed in the attacks and some 120 people were injured, 20 of them seriously.
