Lukashenko: aggression against Muslims is stupid

Belarusian President Lukashenko answered questions from domestic and foreign journalists in the capital Minsk.

Assessing the protests that erupted across the country after a 17-year-old was killed when French police opened fire on a car carrying 3 people in Nanterre on June 27, Lukashenko said: “I do not rule out that there is a war civilian in Europe. But I don’t want this to happen in Europe. But they (the Europeans) are heading towards a conflict. The situation may be worse than in France. In France, what had happened could have been abated long ago if the administration had not been stubborn. If you’re guilty, you need to talk to people. The administration is also to blame for what happened in France.” saying.

Lukashenko also referred to Iraqi-born Salwan Momika burning the Koran in Sweden’s capital Stockholm, saying: “Aggression against Muslims is stupid. Why is it necessary to do this under the auspices of the authorities? Couldn’t the Swedish government have stopped this? He could stop. But they said it was legal. Therefore, there is no need to create problems that could cause a civil war.” he said.

“NUCLEAR MISSILE HEADS BROUGHT TO BELARUS”

President Lukashenko shared the information that nuclear warheads were brought into his country from Russia, saying: “These warheads are under strict protection. We did not bring them by land. We don’t bother anyone. MI6, the foreign intelligence agency of the US, Germany and Britain, didn’t know that.” he used the phrase.

Expressing that they guarantee the security of such titles, Lukashenko said that they will guarantee their protection together with Russia.

Lukashenko claimed that nuclear weapons in Belarus are for defensive purposes.

“THERE IS STILL AN OPPORTUNITY TO AGREE WITH UKRAINE”

Referring to the situation in Ukraine, Lukashenko stated that Ukraine is trying to show its strength before the NATO summit which will take place in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius on July 11, and that this is dangerous.

“They (Ukrainians) will lose their combat capability,” Lukashenko said. When this happens, Russia will launch a counterattack, and the Ukrainians will have nothing else to defend against. Ukraine will be deprived of the Black Sea and the most valuable land on it. This needs to be focused. The attack on the south of Ukraine up to Transnistria will be dangerous for them. Eventually, the problem with the Ukrainian state will be resolved.” he used the phrases.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that he is confident that there is still a chance to reach an agreement on Ukraine. (AA)
