Russia attacks Lviv in western Ukraine: 4 dead

Ukraine’s Interior Minister Igor Klimenko reported that 4 people were killed and 9 wounded as a result of the Russian missile that hit an apartment in the city of Lviv.

Klimenko, in a statement on his social media account, claimed that the Russian military carried out an attack on civilians last night. Noting that the Russian missile hit an apartment in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, Klimenko noted that the third and fourth floors of the apartment were damaged.

Noting that search and rescue efforts are continuing at the scene, Klimenko said: “As of 07:00 in the morning, 4 people died, 9 people were injured, 7 people were rescued, 64 people were evacuated.” Minister Klimenko stated that there is information that there are people trapped under the rubble.

In the statement of the General Staff of Ukraine, it was indicated that in the last 24 hours, Russia launched an attack on Ukrainian territory with 5 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and all the targets were destroyed by defense systems.

In the acquittal, it was noted that the Russian military carried out 59 airstrikes against positions and settlements of Ukrainian soldiers in the past day and fired 65 shots from multi-barreled missile systems. (AA)
