Gun attack in the US: 3 people killed, 8 people injured

The shooting took place last night in the Como neighborhood, southwest of Fort Worth, Texas, police officials told local television.

3 people lost their lives and 8 people were injured in the armed attack against the participants of the ComoFest festival, which takes place every year in the aforementioned neighborhood.

While it is not known how many people were involved in the attack, no one has been arrested yet.

While police confirmed the attack, the shooting was claimed to have taken place in a parking lot just before midnight on Monday.

One person died at the scene and two others at the hospital, while eight more were hospitalized but their condition is unknown, CBS News reported.

Shawn Murray, a senior officer with the Fort Worth Police Department, said: “We don’t know if this is family or gang related. “It’s too early to say anything at this point,” he said.

The United States has been dealing with a large number of gun attacks, especially in recent days.

Most recently, in a separate shooting in Philadelphia on Monday night, five people were killed, two were injured and a suspect was taken into custody.
