Drug cartel besieged a city in Mexico

In Michoacán, one of the states with the most violent acts in Mexico, the drug cartel blocked the entrance and exit of the city of Apatzingán with vehicles.

Members of the drug cartel parked buses and trucks in the middle of the road, preventing entry and exit from the city. The truck driver, who did not want to be named, told reporters that cartel members asked him to park his car across the street and threatened to set it on fire if he moved.

On the other hand, armed members of the cartel seized a family’s car by force. Armed men, who went to the area where the clashes took place, killed one person here.

The victim’s friend assured that the murdered man worked at the car dealership and was on his way to meet with his family, and assured that the murder was committed by members of the Jalisco drug cartel.

Known as the “Hot Zone”, Apatzingán is known as the center where criminal gangs take refuge and where drug production and transportation take place in Mexico. The Viagras drug cartel has also been operating in Apatzingán for a long time. (AA)
