they protested

Before the raid, Iraqi protesters gathered in front of the embassy building and protested.

Shiite religious and political leader Muqtada es-Sadr in Iraq also called for the expulsion of the Swedish ambassador in Baghdad and a protest outside the embassy over the action against the Koran.

In the statement issued by the Demonstration Commission of the Sadr Movement after the call by its leaders, it was indicated that the demonstration will take place tomorrow.

The chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faik Zeydan, had ordered legal action to be taken to bring the Iraqi who burned the Koran in Stockholm back to the country for trial.
