Activists from the environmental group Letzten Generation were also outside the building. They tried to block a driveway to the meeting. An activist reportedly glued herself to a Porsche sports car and daubed the car in red paint. The woman also showed off her bare breasts for no apparent reason. According to activists, they are protesting against luxury cars, which they see as associated with global exploitation and destruction. Protesters also complain about the profits Porsche made and the role founder Ferdinand Porsche played in National Socialism.

It is known that Ferdinand Porsche, the designer of the first model of the brand, received grants from Adolf Hitler in the 1930s. Porsche also built military vehicles for the Nazis during WWII, as did several German automakers. Forced laborers were also used during this period. There were also protests at the Volkswagen Group general meeting in early May.
