US$500 million new military aid to Ukraine
Deputy White House spokeswoman Olivia Dalton answered questions from reporters at the daily news briefing.
Announcing that the United States will provide new military assistance to Ukraine today to support counterattack operations, Dalton said the new package includes mine clearance equipment, armored vehicles and artillery ammunition.
Dalton also noted that the package also includes additional ammunition for the High Performance Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and to strengthen air defense against rocket attacks.
