Israel: We Seized Millions of Dollars in Cryptocurrency

Israeli media covered Defense Minister Yoav Gallant’s statements on the subject. Without elaborating on the operation and the amount seized, Defense Minister Gallant said that this is the largest amount of cryptocurrency Israel has ever seized from these groups.

Gallant claimed that “Iran Revolutionary Guard Army Quds Force and Hezbollah will use these cryptocurrencies for terrorist purposes.”

The Israeli minister also stated that the Defense Ministry’s Economic Warfare on Terrorism Department, Israel’s foreign intelligence service Mossad, Israeli military intelligence, police and other official officials are working in close cooperation.

Gallant noted that “Israel will continue its fight against Iran and other groups that finance terrorism.” (AA)
