Dangerous contact in the Black Sea: Takeoff of fighter jets

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian fighter jets took off after two British fighter jets approached the airspace yesterday.

In the statement, it was noted that the planes took off after two British Air Force Typhoon aircraft were noticed. It was claimed that the British jets returned with the takeoff of the Russian planes in the dangerous approach over the Black Sea.

Russia claimed that a reconnaissance vehicle accompanied the British planes, but there were no border violations.

Since the start of the Ukrainian war, military tensions between Russia and Western countries have escalated rapidly. To date, NATO and Russian warplanes have clashed in the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea.

In April, the crash of an American drone in the Black Sea as a result of the intervention of Russian warplanes increased the tension.
