Zelensky mocks Putin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin is under siege by groups he himself armed, in connection with the Wagner group’s revolt against Russian rule.
Making a statement on his official Twitter account, Zelenskiy argued that Russian propaganda will not hide lies. Zelensky said: “Russia’s weakness is obvious. As long as Russia keeps her soldiers and mercenaries on our soil, it will all turn into more chaos, pain and trouble later on. This is obvious. Ukraine can protect Europe from the Russian evil and the spread of chaos. We maintain our resilience, unity and strength. All our commanders, all our soldiers know what to do. Glory to Ukraine!” shared.
Noting that Putin was surrounded by groups he armed himself, Zelenskiy said: “Putin, who despises the people and sends hundreds of thousands of them to war, is besieged in the Moscow region with his own weapons.” (AA)
