US increases support for Ukraine
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that he will provide more than $1.3 billion in additional assistance to focus on the energy and infrastructure needs of war-torn Ukraine.
Blinken spoke at the international “Ukraine Improvement Conference 2023” held in the capital London, hosted by the UK. Stating that they came together to heal the wounds caused by the war in Ukraine, Blinken said: “As Russia continues to destroy, we are here to help rebuild Ukraine, lives, the country and its future.”
Stating that recovery in Ukraine is about more than ensuring that people have what they need to survive, Blinken said: “Recovery lays the foundation for the development of Ukraine as a safe and independent country, fully integrated with Europe, connected to the markets around the world. .
