Fight in women’s prison in Honduras: 41 dead
According to the Honduran newspaper La Prensa, riots and clashes broke out in the women’s prison in the town of Tamara in the capital Tegucigalpa.
During the events, 25 women were burned and 16 women were killed with firearms.
Due to the fight between the Mara Salvatrucha and Barrio 18 gangs, many security forces were deployed around the prison.
