Defending that the Russians have deployed additional troops to the east to stop the advance of Ukrainian troops in the direction of Bahmut, Malyar said: “The intensity of the fighting in this direction subsided last week, but the fighting continued. Malyar pointed out that the Russian army continued its attacks in the directions of Liman, Kupyansk, Avdiyivka and Marinka last week and said that they did not lose their position in these regions.

“During the two-week offensive operations in the Berdyansk and Melitopol directions, the Tavriya defense forces liberated a total of 8 settlements: Novodarivka, Levadne, Storojeve, Makarivka, Blagodatne, Lobkove, Neskuchne, Pyatihatki. Our troops advanced up to 7 kilometers. The reclaimed land area is 113 square kilometers.”
