Cold shower for Harry and Meghan: they were not invited to the royal event
Prince Harry, who left his official duties in the British royal family with his wife in 2020, was not invited to his father King Charles’ special day.
Named for the British monarch’s birthday, Trooping the Color is held as an annual public celebration on June 17 each year. The event, which dates back to the 1600s, will take place for the first time this year during the reign of the new King. Queen During the last 70 years of Elizabeth’s accession to the throne, the event was known as the Queen’s Birthday Parade.
The parade will feature hundreds of British Army soldiers as well as a special aircraft aerobatic show organized by the Royal Air Force. The function, which could not be exhibited due to the rain for the coronation in May, will take place this week.
There was no comment from Buckingham Palace and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the matter.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS ATTENDED BEFORE
The California-based couple returned to England for last year’s Trooping the Color and watched with other members of the royal family from a room above Horse Guards Parade. This parade was part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations marking Queen Elizabeth’s seventy years on the throne.
Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, participated in Trooping the Color together in 2018 and 2019. The event, which was held for Queen Elizabeth without a large gathering of members of the royal family at Windsor Castle , was reduced in 2020 and 2021 due to the covid-19 outbreak.
