It has been reported that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Army carried out an operation against “terrorist groups” in the rural region of Kusalan, near the Iraqi border, in the west of the country.

According to Iran’s semi-official Tesnim news agency, Brigadier General Muhammed Taki Osanlu, one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Guard Army Ground Forces, announced that they have launched an operation “in the form of exercises” against terrorist groups that cause insecurity in the country. region. Expressing that the region was cleared of terrorist groups as a result of the operations, Osanlu said, “The cleansing of these terrorist camps will continue until the last person in them is destroyed.”

The Iranian commander called on the people of the region to help them against the terrorist groups which he described as “anti-revolutionary terrorist groups.”
