Of the 2,300 employees surveyed for the British Business Excellence Awards, 67 per cent said they believed that female leaders are more effective in their jobs than male bosses.

According to the Daily Mail report,While male leaders were perceived as superior to men in key leadership areas such as multitasking and organizational skills, 83% of male employees found female managers to be more empathetic.

74 percent believe female bosses have a more collaborative leadership style, while 69 percent believe women are more approachable and supportive in the workplace.

More than four-fifths of employees think female bosses are better than men at creating a positive work environment.

THE LIMITS OF THE BUSINESS WORLD

The only area where men were perceived better than women was related to “innovative solutions” and 54 percent of respondents also found men more effective.

“Research results show that nurturing and developing women leaders can have a positive impact on job performance and employee satisfaction,” said Sarah Austin, director of the group.

“Women in business have come a long way in changing outdated stereotypes, but we must continue to push the archaic boundaries and ensure we are represented at the top of British business.” saying.

The research also shared that only nine of the UK’s 100 largest companies have female CEOs.
