Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau in kyiv
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau traveled to the Ukrainian capital, kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
Zelenskiy, regarding Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau’s visit, said: “I welcome Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his delegation to Ukraine. Despite all the efforts of Russia to subdue our people, the Ukrainians continue their struggle for independence and freedom. And in our victory, we will stand together in defense of life and people, just as we are now.”
Prime Minister Trudeau, on the other hand, is in a union with Canada, Ukraine. “I am in kyiv to reaffirm my commitment to President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people, who continue their resistance to Russia’s brutal war.” The Canadian leader also announced that they will deliver $375 million in military aid to Ukraine.
